TLCA given seat on City Of North Bay’s Rural Advisory Committee
Rural residents in North Bay may soon have a formal voice at City Hall and the TLCA was invited to have a seat. Following CNB Resolution 2025-373 (Title: Creation of a Rural Advisory Committee), a new Staff report recommends Council create a Rural Advisory Committee to serve as a liaison.
The committee would include one representative from the Widdifield Ratepayers Association, one from the Trout Lake Conservation Association, four rural residents, and one member of Council. Relevant municipal Staff would also attend meetings.
The proposal stems from a resolution passed in the fall directing Staff to study the feasibility of such a committee and report back within 120 days.
